Cipher Cities - Slow Release Launch

Monday, April 14th, 2008

A Beta version of Cipher Cities is set to be released to our local university student community in Brisbane, Australia in June.

As most of the Cipher Cities development team are past students from Queensland University of Technology we have chosen to invite local university students to be our first group of users. As part of our launch we are running a Cipher Cities Game Design Competition for the Fortitude Valley. The competition gives people a fun and competitive excuse to become Cipher Citizens and begin building and playing good games.

Due to the location-based nature of Cipher Cities games, we are taking a slow release approach to launching Cipher Cities, building local community user groups as we go. Following the Fortitude Valley Competition we intend to run similar competitions in Melbourne and Sydney to build upon our user base.
