The map below defines the design location for the Cipher Cities Game Design Competition in Fortitude Valley.
The green area indicates the limits within which all game play must be occur.
If you take your players outside the defined, your game will NOT be a valid entry and will not be considered for the Competition prize.

Cipher Cities now offers you the option of playing games on your mobile phone web browser. Improving on the SMS option, the new mobile web option lets you switch between multiple games at a time and view your game log on the fly.
Depending on your rate plan, the mobile web option can also be a cheaper for you than playing via SMS.
To play on your mobile web browser:
- Register to play one or more games from your desktop computer
- Navigate your phone browser to http://m.ciphercities.com/
- Log in using your username and password
- Select the game you want to play and you’re set!

To inspire wonderful new games, we have invited asked local games and writing experts to build some games. Visit their profiles to check out the games they have made.
Matthew Ford is an independent game designer/ programmer/ producer. Matthew has worked for Microsoft and Atari Games (arcade) and is currently president of Digital Cream a small independent game company.
Kelly Chapman worked as a producer on the global pre-season online narrative for LOST Season 4, Spooks Interactive and the Emmerdale Online Channel for local digital entertainment company Hoodlum Active.
Jane Turner (aka Truna or greyCat) is a game design researcher, teacher and artist. Truna is chapter auntie of the Brisbane IGDA and is also a lecturer in immersion and game design.
Tom Killen is currently a developer of multi-platform productions at Hoodlum. Tom has a dual degree in Information Technology (Software Engineering) and Creative Industries (Communication Design).
